Mirrormont Park Work Party

Park Work Party 10/14 from 930 AM–1:00 PM

Do you enjoy Mirrormont Park? If so, we need your help! 

Top priority goals are: Safety. Have fun. Community building. 

MEET by the picnic tables in the meadow to check in.

If fear of bears has kept you from exploring Mirrormont Park, our upcoming work party is a great opportunity. There will be no chance of encounters with bears. They are lazy and don’t like to work.

BRING gloves, shovels, trowels, hori-horis, pruners, loppers and hand saws if you have them. If not, we can borrow tools from the Pea Patch. Please let us know if you are available for all or part of the day so we can be sure to have enough snacks for all. Or come spontaneously!

We need  4 people to come at  9am to help set up the  tent   and  supplies. and bring wheelbarrows to the chip piles.

We need  4 people to help  clean up tables and take down  the tent.

We need another  4 to  take home some yard waste  bags of vines to add to your own yard waste bin.

NOTE:  Everyone will need to sign a hold harmless form (including parent of children)
