A shared project between King County Parks and the Mirrormont Community Association

ABOUT OUR PARK

King County owns the 11 acre Park property located in the center of Mirrormont. The Mirrormont Community Association developed, operates, and maintains the Park with a group of community volunteers. This cooperative agreement is part of the King County Community Partnerships and Grants Program.

The Central Meadow was planted with “Ecoturf,” a more environmentally friendly mix of hardy grasses and wildflowers which requires less mowing and fertilizing than traditional fields.

The Gravel Path around the central Meadow is .2 Miles long… 5 times around the loop = 1 mile if you are walking for exercise!

There are now 4 Dog Waste Dispensers and 3 Benches located in and around the meadow. Please be considerate of others and clean up after your pet.

We do not have Garbage Service at the Park, so if you bring it in for a picnic or event… please pack it out!

Additional informational signage for the Park is being built up by a local Boy Scout Troop.

COMING SOON & ON-GOING EVENTS

Ongoing Trail Restoration and Improvements including replanting of Native Plants and drainage fixes.

“Park Pride” Program – Groups (family, individual, street, whatever) can “adopt” a piece of the Park to maintain as they are able.
