Spring Clean-Up

Drop-Off

  • At the dumpsters located at the tennis courts where volunteers can help you unload.
  • Time 9am till 2pm. If the dumpsters are full, you will need to take your items back home, so come early.
  • Absolutely no items may be left beside the dumpsters after 2pm. They will not be taken by the disposal company and then we’re stuck with it. Don’t take advantage of a good thing.

Scheduled Pick-Ups – If you need us to come to you, your dues must be received on or before May 24th.

  • Due to limited manpower for this service, we ask that this part of the service be reserved for those who are unable to take their items to the dumpsters.
  • For pickup at your home it MUST BE SCHEDULED in advance or it won’t be picked up. Schedule by Wed. May 21st with Mark or Mary Fredrickson at mary.fredrickson@comcast.net . or call them at 391-5527, but email is best.
  • Have items at curbside by 8:30am on Saturday.
  • The truck will only pick up scheduled items. If your things are not picked up by 1pm, come to the dumpsters by the tennis courts to check with the workers.

All MCA members who have paid their dues for 2008 may participate

  • If you have not yet paid your dues, volunteers at the dumpsters will accept dues (only $35 per calendar year).

Adopt-A-Road

Please help with this annual clean-up of our streets. Volunteers are needed to walk designated streets in the neighborhood to pick up road-side trash. No commitment is too small. It’s a good way to get your children involved in a community project and make our neighborhood a little nicer. The county provides the bright orange vests, hard hats, gloves and bags!!! Pick up yours at the tennis courts from 9 – 2:00.
To sign up or get info call Miriam at 427-1681 or e-mail at newsletter@mirrormont.org .
